it is not really avaiable off-line
the major problem is that it is not really avaiable off-line, when you have no wifi connection.
very misleading!!
I downloaded this app in advance of a 2-week trip to Paris. I was hoping to be able to locate hot spots so that I could use my iPhone for free. Unfortunately, this app is a very misleading in what it promises. Looking at the screen shots, there is an example of a cafe where the wifi access is "unrestricted". While I did not visit this specific cafe, my experience was that only McDonalds provides free, unrestricted wifi access. In order to use a cafes wifi, you need to be a customer (i.e., order something) and ask for a password. I tried this in some of the cafes that were listed in the app, only to find out that they did not have wifi at all. Basically, this app proved to be worthless to me. If you plan to travel to Paris and you want to access free wifi, try standing outside of a Mickey D. Some of the parks provide wifi access through Orange (one of the cellular services over there), but you still have to be able to read enough French to register and get a password. I found the signal to be very weak - definitely too weak to place a Skype call.
dollar spent in vain
cafes that have been recommending the application had been closed forever, or have ceased to exist
The idea of the app is good but...
It would be nice if it was more user friendly. The map is static and you can not zoom in. So you end up with a list of spots with free wifi. For someone traveling it would be good to have all the info on an easy to use and interactive map. Had I known this I would not have bought this app.
